QUARTERLY BOOK READING
Quarter 1
What is the Gospel? by Greg Gilbert
In What Is the Gospel?, Greg Gilbert makes what many claim to know, simple, engaging and refreshing. He explains that the gospel is the good news that God made us, we sinned against Him, and we deserve judgment. Out of love, God sent Jesus to live a perfect life, die on the cross for sins, and rise from the dead. We must respond to the gospel with repentance. That is, turning from sin and trusting in the provision of God in Christ alone for the full payment for our sins. 4 simple categories; God, Man, Christ Response.
